April 2016 – Austin, Texas
The Austin boot camp in April was hosted at the Digital Realty Trust facility off Metro Center Drive and brought together 25 individuals from eight different companies across the data center, real estate and telecommunications industry. The room was packed and the collaboration of the group, along with the work of the Delta Force IT Instructors, made for one of the most memorable boot camps we have had to date. It was also the first time our founder, Sean Patrick Tario, turned the reigns over to let someone else lead the majority of the lecture and work shop throughout the day. Native Texan Todd Smith stepped up to the challenge to take the lead with Paul Carrico, Sean and one of our new contributing editors Dan Vasquez taking minor supporting roles.
This boot camp served as a key moment in the history of the company, as we will only scale to the extent that we can successfully empower our consultants to lead these boot camps and truly make them their own. Our Director of Marketing and Training, M. Todd Partain, is also near completion of a Leaders Guide that all future trainers will leverage to stay on point throughout the day and ensure a consistent format and message is received by each attendee regardless of who is presenting.
For every live boot camp, the Open Spectrum team provides a regional market report from the library of reports that we maintain on data center markets worldwide. The Open Spectrum Market Report contains up-to-date data center industry knowledge, geographic growth trends, and local market differences to help you select the region that is best for your investing choice or buying decision.
